I decided to try conversational hypnosis techniques to lose weight. I went to a seminar type lecture and listened to a man speak about healthy dieting and good habits one should follow to lose weight. Then he dimmed the lights and led the audience through a series of relaxation exercises and I guess this is when we were supposed to be hypnotized. I did become very relaxed - so much so that I actually fell asleep. I never did lose weight, however, for several days after my hypnosis session, I found myself thinking a lot more about what I was eating, instead of just eating without thinking.
