What the US patent laws mean

Although many object to anyone having a monopoly on an invention, such monopoly rights have always been a fundamental part of the US patent laws system and been recognized in the U.S. constitution. To promote science and useful arts the US patent laws hand out the exclusive rights to the authors and inventors their respective writings and discoveries. The law would be basically for the protection of a patent nevertheless. It covers areas from the patent application to its examination and scrutiny. Then come the patent issuance and the rights granted by virtue of it.
