About Online Savings Accounts

Finance :: Wealth-Building No Comments »

I’ve been looking into online banks lately. I’ve had enough of big local banks. Lousy rates and high fees - why stick with them? It’s time for a change, so I’m going to try something new. I mean after all, it’s my money, and I’m lending it to them. They should pay for the privilege. And why should I have to pay fees to them? It’s not like I get to charge them fees when I borrow money from them. Specifically, the best online bank accounts for individuals is a great deal. They pay good rates, and don’t charge all of those hidden fees that the big boys are always hitting you with. Who cares if the big banks have more ATMs when they will refund your ATM fees from any other Bank? Now I can use any ATM in town. If you’re not earning a good return, you might want to check them out as well. Ok - that’s it for today.

Researching SEP IRA Retirement Plans

Finance :: Wealth-Building No Comments »

Just started a new job that uses
SEP IRA Retirement Plans instead of a 401k plan. Looks like I have some research to do, now, as I haven’t the slightest idea how SEP IRAs work.
I’ve been poking around the net checking out info on Sep Retirement Plans, but it’s complicated. It’s just not he sort of thing I like to spend my time thinking about. But of course it has to be done.
At least I’ll save some money on taxes. That bite the government takes out of my paycheck just keeps getting more and more painful every year.
I’ll be looking forward to your comments.

The computer is key

I really love using my computer because I think it really does make my life so much easier, and that is why I was very interested in offshore Internet banking, because I knew I would be able to use my computer in order to access any of my accounts and be able to take control of my finances whenever I felt like it, and that’s included at any time of the day or night. Using the Internet to access an offshore account is a brilliant invention and I really could not be without it. Opening an offshore account is in fact one of the best things I have done.

The Skinny On Structured Settlement Sales

Finance :: Wealth-Building No Comments »

I’ve been checking out
Structured Settlement Sales lately. It’s a touch decision - a certain lump-sum versus a long-term payment with bankruptcy risks.
Trying to find unbiased information on
Structured Settlement Loans online has been tough. Most folks offering info on the subject have an ulterior motive of some sort or another.
I’m hoping I’ll be able to get enough information to make an informed choice.
I’ll keep you posted.

About SEP IRA Plans

Finance :: Wealth-Building No Comments »

My company is offering
SEP IRA Plans as its primary retirement benefit. I’m thinking that signing up is a good idea, but I don’t know how the whole process works.
I’ve been digging around the net trying to learn more about
Sep Accounts so I can make the right decisions, but I’m a bit clueless when it comes to finance, so it’s been slow going.
I’m hoping I’ll be able to set things up once and be done with it. Use dollar-cost averaging to smooth things out over time.

Learning About International Bank Accounts

Finance :: Wealth-Building No Comments »

I’ve decided to get out of the Dollar as completely as I possibly can. I’ve been checking into
International Bank Accounts for options on doing just that.
I’m learning all I can about
a Bank For International Settlements to that end. I think it’s time to consider more overseas options.
Even if the dollar bounces back, it is a good idea to hold other currencies. You never know what’s going to happen.
More on this soon.

Online Savings Accounts

I’m firing Citibank. They just aren’t a great deal anymore for my money. I’m looking at Washington Mutual instead, and some of the other High Yield Online Savings as well. Much better deals to be had. I mean after all, it’s my money, and I’m lending it to them. They should pay for the privilege. And why should I have to pay fees to them? It’s not like I get to charge them fees when I borrow money from them. Check out Ing Direct Orange Savings Accounts for example. Their rates are way higher than anything you can get at the big corporate banks. And banking online is easier than dealing with lines at tellers anyway. Who cares if the big banks have more ATMs when they will refund your ATM fees from any other Bank? Now I can use any ATM in town. You might want to look into the benefits of online banking yourself.

Online Bank Accounts

You know, I’m sick and tired of getting a lousy rate on my savings. I’ve decided to check out online banking. It’s plain to me that most of the options there are a much better deal than I’ve been getting. I mean after all, it’s my money, and I’m lending it to them. They should pay for the privilege. And why should I have to pay fees to them? It’s not like I get to charge them fees when I borrow money from them. Specifically, WaMu Online Personal Checking is a great deal. They pay good rates, and don’t charge all of those hidden fees that the big boys are always hitting you with. I mean, who wants to wait in line at a bank branch when you can get your business done in a few seconds online? More people should check out internet banks instead of big banks.

High Yield Online Savings

I’m firing Citibank. They just aren’t a great deal anymore for my money. I’m looking at Washington Mutual instead, and some of the other online banking as well. Much better deals to be had. Sometimes you have to remind yourself that you are lending your money to the bank with these accounts, and they ought to be paying you. It’s not like you get to charge the bank fees when they loan you money, after all. I poked around the net, and settled on Washington Mutual Online Banking as the best option out there. They pay great rates, and don’t charge those ridiculous fees. Who cares if the big banks have more ATMs when they will refund your ATM fees from any other Bank? Now I can use any ATM in town. In fact, I think most people would be better off switching to an online bank.
