Homeschooling is when a child gets their education at home. A parent or guardian usually becomes the teacher. The most common reason parents decide to home school their children is that they believe they can educate their child better at home. Religious reasons, poor learning environment at school and family reason are few other common reasons to home school your child. Home school is certainly not for everyone. Since homeschooling isn’t a lifetime agreement experts feel everything considering it should try a trial period of a year. After a year homeschooling doesn’t live up to your expectations simply return to a public or private school. Don’t rush into a homeschooling situation think about it first make sure you child is willing to do it, you have enough time to teach your child and it is usually a good idea if both parents agree to follow through. You might want to ask someone who is either an expert or has home schooled their child in the past.
