Despite Costa Rica being a rather small country in terms of the geographical area it covers, Costa Rica Weather is marked by a rich variety. The diversity and variety of weather in Costa Rica divides it into a number of climatic zones. Each of these climatic zones are quite distinct and bear their own characteristic features. Since the country is located close to the equator, the climate of Costa Rica is considered to be tropical in general. But, as said earlier, there is a lot of variety attached to this generalized tropical climate.
